Ghee cake is something really very common and there is no doubt that all of us love them. This time, I just made a slight variation by making a chocolate ghee cake. This recipe gives you a perfect chocolatey ghee cake. It is very easy to make and not just kids, all will surely love it.

Make sure you pre-heat the oven for at least 10 minutes.

First, we will mix all the dry ingredients like maida, cocoa powder, chocolate powder, and baking powder and keep it aside. Next, we will mix together ghee and sugar with a beater. Beat till the mixture is perfectly mixed. Now break in the eggs, one at a time and beat well. After both the eggs are mixed well with the ghee sugar mix, add in the dry ingredients. Do not put all of them together. Add in half of the dry ingredients, beat well until it is mixed well and then put in the other half. Beat well.

3

This mixture will be a bit thick in consistency. Now we have to add milk gradually Finally, add in the vanilla essence and beat well. Now, you need to grease a baking tray. I have used an 8 inch round tray. Grease the tray with ghee, oil or butter, and dust the tray with some maida. Dust off the extra flour on the tray.

4

Now, bake it for around 40 minutes at 180 degreeC. Before you take the cake out of the oven, pick it with a long thin stick and ensure that it comes out clean.

Yummy Chocolate Ghee Cake is ready. Let it cool for some time, then cut it into pieces and serve.
