Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf or banana cake is an easy to make cake if you have really ripe bananas at home. Now, I think this is one of the best ways to make use of over ripe bananas that many dislike to eat. Now, to make this banana loaf, I used the green bananas or Khela and I used 1/4 cup white granulated sugar and 1/4 cup brown cane sugar powder. The choice is totally yours. The cooking method used for making this banana choco chip cake is baking.
First I mashed the bananas really well. Then I combined it together with the sugar. Now you have to add the wet ingredients one by one. Mix in the oil, then one egg and beat it with a fork. Then add in the vanilla essence and mix well.
After that seive, the flour with salt and baking soda, add to the wet mixture and fold it in. Then add the chocolate chips and fold it. Transfer the batter to a greased loaf tin.
Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven to 250 degrees. Then, slowly reduce the heat to 200 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes. When almost 3/4 baking time is over you can poke the loaf with a fork or skewer to see if it is baked properly. If the skewer comes out clean you can remove the pan and let it cool for a bit.
