 1 ½ cups Maida/All Purpose Flour
 ½ tsp Baking Powder
 A Pinch of Salt
 ½ cup Cocoa Powder

 1 cup Castor Sugar
 100 g Butter
 1 Egg
 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Who doesn't like cookies, kids especially? Irrespective of age, all love cookies and there is no argument on choco chip more. Here is the recipe to make Dark Choco Chip Cookies. You will surely love it.

To make the cookies, you have to sieve and mix all the dry ingredients mentioned in the ingredients list well and keep them aside.

Preheat Oven at 180 degree C for around 10 minutes.

Next, you have to Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Make sure that the butter is at room temperature. You can do this with your hands or with a beater. But, be careful not to beat for too long.

Once the butter and sugar are mixed well, add in the egg and vanilla essence and beat til all the ingredients are mixed well. Again ensure that the egg is at room temperature.

The next step is to mix in the dry ingredients gradually. Fold them gently. Do not use the beater here.

Finally, add in the choco chips and mix well. You can increase or decrease the quantity if the choco chips here. If you want it more chocolatey, add a bit more. Now, the mixture will be somewhat like a soft dough.

Refrigerate the cookie dough for 15 minutes.

Grease a baking tray with ghee or butter. Then, make small balls from the dough with your hands and flatten them on top and place it on the baking tray. You can put some choco chips on top of it. This step is completely optional. Since I love it more chocolatey, I have dabbed some on top of the cookies.

Now, bake the cookies at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.

Yummy Dark Choco Chip Cookies are ready now. Let it cool and store it in an airtight container.

Let cool.
