 1 tsp Cumin seeds
 1 tsp Pepper corns
 6 Garlic cloves
 ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
 ½ tsp Chilli powder
 ¼ tsp Corinader seeds
 1 Pinch Sugar
 Salt to taste
 4 Tomatoes Ripe
 6 Corinader leaves with stem
 ½ Lime
For Tempering
 2 tbsp Sesame oil
 ½ tsp Asafoetida Powder
 ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
 ¼ tsp Fenugreek seeds
 1 Red chilli
 6 Curry leaves

Rasam is a traditional south Indian dish which is a part of their everyday meal. Though there are a variety of rasams that can be made with different ingredients, here, I will be giving you the recipe to Easy Tomato Rasam without Tamarind. Now, the name says it all - it is easy to make, its main ingredient is tomato and it is made without tamarind.

First, crush garlic, jeera and pepper in a mixer jar. Then add rest of the ingredients into the same blender. Next, blend it well.

For the next step, in a pan, heat the oil. Then, temper the asafoetida, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chili and the curry leaves.

After that, add the blended tomato mixture with 3 cups of water to this. Now you have to cook it till it boils. Then, take it off the heat. Finally add in the lime juice. You can add more lime juice, as per your preference. The last step is to garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Yummy Easy Tomato Rasam without Tamarind is ready. This is the best with rice.
