Guacamole Recipe - Cooking Revived

Ingredients
 2 Avocados (mashed with a fork)
  Onion chopped fine
 ½ Seeded Tomato chopped
 1 cup Cilantro chopped
 ½ Lemon
 Salt to taste
 Freshly ground Black Pepper

Note: People normally stay away from Guacamole as they believe that it's main ingredient avocado is full of fat. But avocado consists more of healthy fat and proteins. Hence, it may help you in weight loss. Used as a spread or a dip, guacamole is also considered to be a health food.

To start with, you just need to combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Afterwards, you can use it as a spread with a toasted oats bread, ragi or wheat bread and even as the filling in a sandwich, with these breads.

First of all, in bowl take two avocados and then use a fork to mash it up thoroughly(same as you would a banana). After that, to the same bowl, add in the suggested quantity of chopped tomato, onion and also the cilantro. Next, squeeze in the lime to add a tangy flavour. Then, you can season it with the salt and pepper, as preferred. If you want to spice it up more you could also add in crushed red chillies. Also, replacing cilantro with oregano, will give a twist to the taste.

However, if weight loss is not your cup of tea, you can still enjoy this as a dip with some yummy tortilla chips( as this picture suggests). Enjoy!
