Ingredients
 1 kg Chicken
 3 Onions sliced (big)
 10 Green Chillies slit
 1 tbsp Garlic ground
 1 tbsp Ginger ground
 ½ tsp Garam masala powder
 1 tbsp Coriander powder
 ½ tsp Turmeric powder
 1 tbsp Vinegar
 10 Cashewnuts ground
 1 Thick Coconut milk
 1 Tomato sliced
 3 tbsp Coconut oil
 1 tbsp Curry leaves
 Coriander leaves to garnish
 1 tbsp Ghee
 4 Shallots
 1 Garlic
 Tiny piece ginger
 1 pinch Aniseed
 ½ tsp Crushed pepper
Method

To make the yummy chicken stew, first of all marinate the chicken with half the ginger garlic paste, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder, vinegar, turmeric and salt. Then, keep it aside for 1/2 an hour.

Next, heat the oil in a pan,add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Then sauté it well. After that, add in rest of the ginger garlic paste and sauté it as well till you get a lovely aroma. Then add rest of the garam masala and the coriander powder. Sauté it, likewise, till the oil separates.

Now add in chicken and continue to fry for 5-8 minutes. Then cook it with lid covered. When it’s almost cooked, mix the ground cashew with coconut milk and pour it into the chicken. You can also add in tomatoes then.

When it’s cooked thoroughly, garnish the yummy Chicken Stew with coriander leaves and the tadka (better known as tempering). (For the tempering, fry the small onions, crushed ginger garlic with saunf in ghee). This well fried tadka adds to the flavour of the yummy Chicken Stew. Add in crushed pepper at the end.
